MIT World Peace University (MIT-WPU) is a state private university (deemed university) located in Kothrud, Pune, India.It is a part of the MIT Group of Institutions.
It is officially named Dr. Vishwanath Karad MIT World Peace University. It was established under the Government of Maharashtra Act No. XXXV 2017 and recognized by the University Grants Commission.
Evolution as university
MIT World Peace University was formerly known as the (Maharashtra Institute of Technology) group of institutions.Maharashtra Institute of Technology (MIT), established in 1983, was the first college of the MAEER's group of institutions and one of the first private engineering colleges in Maharashtra. MAEER was affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU), turned into a private university, the MIT Art Design Technology University under the guidance of Dr. Vishwanath Karad.MIT World Peace University (MIT-WPU), Pune is one of the leading private engineering and management institutions in India which is ranked and recognized by several prestigious national ranking authorities. Highlights
Maharashtra Institute of Technology World Peace University (MIT Pune) is a state-private university located in Maharashtra. Established in 2017, the University is a part of MAEER’s MIT Group of Institutions. It is also considered among the top education institutions in India since the establishment of the MIT Group of Institutes in 1983. MIT Pune UG Admission 2022
MIT Pune offers a list of courses at the undergraduate level, including BTech, BBA, BBA (Hons), BDes, BCom, BCom (Hons) and BSc among others. For MIT WPU BTech admission, candidates need to qualify for JEE Main/ MHT CET/ PERA CET entrance exam. Admission to all the programmes is done online through the official website of the University. The application process for all UG, PG and PhD courses is the same. Here are the steps to fill out the MIT Pune application form:
Step 1: Visit the official website of the University (www.mitwpu.edu.in) and click on 'Apply'.
Step 2: Further, fill in the basic details such as name, email ID, mobile number, etc.
Step 3: Now, choose the preferred course among all the mentioned courses.
Step 4: Select the preferred exam centre and other remaining details.
Step 5: Fill in the educational details correctly and proceed further.
Step 7: Upload scanned images of your photograph and signature as per the specified size and pay an application fee of INR 1,500 using a debit card/ credit card/ net banking.
