Bihar NEET Counselling 2022 Highlights

The candidates who secure good marks, qualify the minimum cut off requirements in the NEET examination and achieve a place in the merit list prepared by the BCECEB will be eligible to participate in the Bihar NEET Counselling 2022. 

The Bihar NEET Counselling 2022 will allot a total of 1151 MBBS and 243 BDS seats that come under the 85% of state quota. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will handle the admissions to the remaining 15% MBBS and BDS seats available in the state that are reserved for the All India Quota (AIQ), deemed and central universities.

Eligibility Criteria for Bihar NEET Counselling 2022

The eligibility criteria for candidates to be able to participate in the Bihar NEET 2022 counselling are as follows. 

1. Bihar domicile status 
2. The candidate must have qualified the NEET 2022 examination. 
3. Applicants must have completed 17 years. Anyone born on or after 02-01-2004 will not be eligible for admission. 
4. The candidates must have secured a minimum of 50% in class 12 board exams with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as compulsory subjects. A relaxation of 10% and 5% ,that is a minimum of 40% and 45% is required for candidates belonging to SC/ST categories and Physically Handicapped candidates respectively. 

Bihar NEET Counselling 2022 Process 

The following are the steps in the Bihar NEET 2022 counselling process in chronological order. 

1. Firstly, the candidates who qualify the eligibility criteria of Bihar NEET must visit the official website of BCECE and must register themselves by filling the required information in step one of the application form. They must give correct credentials for the activation of their accounts and procure the UGMAC ID. 
2. Once activated and signed in, candidates have to fill in the rest of the application form with the required personal and educational information and submit the same with legally right and accurate testimonials and documents. 
3. The crucial point of this application is the selection of preferred courses and colleges the candidates wish to get admission in. 
4. The last step in the application process for counselling will be the payment of counselling fee which should be done using the available online payment methods. 
5. The candidates will have to download and print the submitted application form for the counselling round. 
6. In Bihar NEET 2022 counselling, the candidates on the merit list will be allotted seats on the basis of their preferences, candidate’s merit and the availability of seats. 
7. Once the BCECE is done with the seat allotment, the allotment letters will be sent to the candidates with which the candidate should report to assigned colleges. 
8. The final step of the admission process is the verification of documents and payment of college fees. 
9. The candidates can start their journeys as medical and dental students after the completion of the above mentioned process.
