Sapthagiri College of Engineering, Established in 2001, Sapthagiri College of Engineering is a well-known institution for B.E. / B.Tech and M.E./M.Tech. in the fields of Engineering. These are Full Time programs delivered by a highly experienced faculty. In line with its curriculum & teaching standards, the institute has a well-equipped Library, Hostel, Boys Hostel, Girls Hostel, Co-ed Hostel. To ensure that students are in-line with industry trends, it provides Full Time course with 768 seats. The course is offerred to students who want to study for the career in Engineering Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Biotechnology Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science Engineering, VLSI Design. Entry Requirements

Application Form

Candidates who are seeking admission at Sapthagiri can apply online through the official website of the college. For admission, candidates can also contact the college through email and Phone calls or directly to the college head office. Application form will be available on the UG and PG courses link on the home page of the college website. The college will admit students based on the marks scored in the prescribed examinations. Admitted students have to pay the admission fee and other fees at the time of admission based on the Sapthagiri College of Engineering fee structure.

BE Admission 2023

The college offers BE admission to the first year and direct to the second year through Lateral Entry. Eligible candidates have to obtain eligibility certificate for admission to B.E./B.Tech. Degree Course from Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum or from the Principal of concerned Engineering College of Karnataka State.

BE Eligibility

Candidates should have a passed PU examination / XII standard or equivalent examination recognized by the University with not less than 45% marks in the aggregate with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with any one of the following subjects, namely, Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Computer Science, Biology and Electronics.

M.Tech Admission 2023

Sapthagiri College offers M.Tech in VLSI Design & Embedded System and Computer Science & Engineering.

M.Tech Eligibility

To apply for the M.Tech courses candidates should have an Undergraduate degree BE / B.Tech in relevant field from of VTU or any other University or equivalent examination recognized by the University with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.

Ph.D Admission 2023

The college offers a Doctoral Research degree Ph.D in Computer Science and Engineering, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Electronics & Communication Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. The Ph.D courses are affiliated to VTU and the admission is made by the University.

Ph.D Eligibility

Candidates should have a Master’s Degree in the respective field from VTU or any other University or equivalent examination recognized by the University. The admission will be based on the performance in the qualifying examination and the performance in the Interview conducted by the VTU.
